Dr. Erin Keefe (she/her), DVM
Dr. Erin Keefe is native New Yorker from Buffalo and has had a love and interest in veterinary medicine from a young age. She attended Fordham University and received a bachelor’s degree in biology. Her undergraduate studies led her to an interest in research and she began working in a genetics lab where she eventually completed a master’s degree in molecular biology. She received her veterinary degree from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Erin began practicing small animal medicine in general practice in Buffalo, NY and volunteered at the Erie County SPCA, providing care for rescued animals. She has always had a special interest in shelter medicine and has spent a lot of time working in several departments of the ASPCA here in New York City. She is a member of the New York State Veterinary Medical Society and the American Veterinary Medical Association.Erin truly enjoys improving the lives of animals and their owners and helping to strengthen the
human-animal bond. She believes preventative care and good communication with clients are
keys to keeping pets safe and healthy.
In her spare time Erin loves to travel, practice yoga, ski and spend quality time with her two rescue cats, Bailey and Fiona.
