Dr. Autumn Madden (she/her), DVM

A native of Washington, DC, Dr. Autumn Madden has dreamed of becoming a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. Her passion for animals was sparked during summers spent on her uncle's farm in South Carolina, where her love for caring for animals blossomed.

Autumn earned her bachelor's degree in Animal, Poultry, and Nutritional Sciences from Tuskegee University, where she later returned to complete her veterinary degree. After graduation, she practiced in the DC area for several years before relocating to Georgia, where she worked as a telehealth veterinarian, writer, and relief veterinarian.

Now back in Washington, DC, Autumn enjoys reading, writing, camping, hiking, yoga, music, and spending time with her family and friends. She also loves spending quality time with her dog, Lupin, and her two cats, Shai and Wednesday.

Special Interests: Internal medicine, rehabilitation medicine, senior medicine, nutrition, neurology, and Chinese medicine.
