Dr Agnieska Czaja (she/her), DVM
Born and raised in Queens, NYC, Dr. Agnieszka Czaja earned her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Franklin and Marshall College. Her experience at the college’s vivarium inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She further honed her skills and passion as a general practice veterinary assistant and as a volunteer at the New York Aquarium for several years before attending Cornell University, where she obtained her veterinary degree. Since graduating, she has been caring for dogs and cats at a small animal private clinic in Brooklyn.Dr. Czaja has special interests in preventative medicine, client education, pet nutrition, animal behavior, veterinary neurology, and internal medicine, and she is developing a growing appreciation for integrative veterinary medicine. She is dedicated to providing a stress-free experience for every patient and client, and she is passionate about strengthening the human-animal bond.
Outside the veterinary clinic, Dr. Czaja enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with her family and friends, and caring for her high-spirited Australian Cattle Dog-Husky-Pomeranian mix, Kazan. She also dabbles in arts and crafts and participates in various fitness activities.
